Privacy policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data Audioloom collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers www.audioloom.com, the Audioloom storefront on creators' websites, the products sold through Audioloom (including The Loom), and our emails.

Who we are

Audioloom Inc. is a Delaware corporation at 8 The Green Ste R, Dover, DE 19901, United States ("Audioloom", "we", "us"), and the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at privacy@audioloom.com.

Checkout and payments are handled by Moonbase AS, or Moonbase LLC for orders with a US billing address, which resells the products as merchant of record. Moonbase is the controller of the record of your purchase and payment, under its own privacy policy, and processes the rest of your order for us.

What we collect

  • Account and order details: your name, email address and password, and the billing details, business name and tax ID from your orders, together with what you bought and your newsletter choices. Moonbase handles your card details; we never see them.
  • Licences and devices: your licences, trials and downloads, and, when a product activates or checks its licence, the device's name and identifier, its IP address and the approximate location we derive from it. Products may also send crash reports with technical details about your system.
  • Reviews: your reviews, the name you choose to show with them, and your helpfulness votes.
  • Usage and communications: the pages and products you view, how you arrived (such as campaign tags and ad click IDs), your IP address and browser, whether you open our emails and click their links, and your conversations with support.
  • Creators and affiliates: business and contact details, tax ID, the content you upload, your earnings, and the record of your acceptance of our agreements. Moonbase collects your payout and verification details.

Most of this comes from you or your use of Audioloom. We also receive data from Moonbase, from creators who add you as a team member, tester or affiliate, and from creators' marketing tools, which keep your newsletter subscriptions in step with Audioloom.

How we use it

  • To run your account and deliver what you buy, including licences, downloads, receipts and support (to perform our contract with you).
  • To share your purchases with the products' creators, as described below (our contract with you, and our and the creators' legitimate interests).
  • To publish, moderate and translate reviews, prevent fraud, piracy and abuse, and meet our tax and legal obligations (our legitimate interests and legal obligations).
  • To send marketing emails from Audioloom and the creators you subscribe to (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • For analytics and advertising, and to improve Audioloom (your consent where the law requires it, otherwise our legitimate interests).

Reviews are public, shown with the name you chose or as a verified owner. We check them before they appear, partly with an AI model that suggests whether a review meets our rules, and our staff decide the cases it cannot. We may use reviews as described in our Terms of Use .

Sharing with creators

When you buy, try or download a product, including one inside a bundle, its creator receives your name, email address and what you bought, tried or downloaded, and, depending on the creator's setup, your billing address, tax ID and how you arrived. If you sign in to the Audioloom storefront on a creator's website, that website can show your account details. Creators can also connect their own email, store and advertising tools to Audioloom, which then receive the same data, and, while you are signed in, the products you view and add to your cart on their storefront.

Each creator is responsible for the data it receives. Our agreement with creators requires them to use it lawfully, to send marketing only to customers who agreed to it, and to honour unsubscribe and deletion requests. Creators see your reviews but not the email address behind them.

Other sharing

Analytics and advertising. We use Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta, TikTok and PostHog on our website. They receive information about your visit and purchases with their own cookie identifiers, and may use it under their own terms to measure and show ads.

Service providers. We use providers for hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics, search, customer support, AI review moderation and translation, team notifications, and anti-piracy monitoring, under contracts that limit what they can do with your data.

We may also disclose personal data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or others' safety, or in a sale of our business. We do not sell personal data for money.

International transfers

We store data mainly in the United States. When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

  • Account data, for as long as your account exists.
  • Orders, licences and payment records, for as long as you can use your licences and tax and accounting law requires, also after your account is closed.
  • Logs and records of activity, for a few weeks to a few months, unless we need them longer for security or a dispute.

You can ask us to delete your account at privacy@audioloom.com. We then delete or anonymise your data, except what we must keep, and ask creators' connected tools to remove you where they allow it.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with its link, and choose which newsletters you receive, Audioloom's and each creator's, in your account settings.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If you live in a US state with a privacy law, you can ask to know, correct or delete your data, and opt out of its use for targeted advertising by emailing us with the subject "Do not sell or share". We do not yet respond to browser signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.

Email privacy@audioloom.com from the address on your account. Requests are free, and we answer within one month.

Cookies

We and our partners use cookies and similar browser storage to:

  • keep you signed in and remember your cart, which Audioloom needs to work;
  • remember how you arrived until you check out, so a purchase is credited to the right campaign, affiliate or creator;
  • measure visits and advertising, through Google, Meta, TikTok and PostHog;
  • show support chat and embedded videos, whose providers set their own cookies.

The Audioloom storefront on a creator's website does the same on that website, and reads the creator's own advertising cookies to report purchases to the creator. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but signing in and the cart need them.

Children

You must be at least 18 to use Audioloom, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and changes

We protect personal data with encryption and access controls, though no system is completely secure. We update this policy when our practices change, show the date of the latest change at the top, and tell you in advance of significant changes. Other websites, including creators', have their own policies.
